Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to join our team at Diesel Direct Inc. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding our customer base in the assigned region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in consultative/solution-based selling in a B2B environment, with a proven ability to establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts that meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and targets.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts that meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and targets
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales
  • Prospect for potential customers and qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers
  • Maintain a high level of relevant product knowledge to connect with prospects
  • Make presentations to senior managers and decision-makers and draft and deliver proposals
  • Work with technical staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirements
  • Achieve monthly sales quotas and maintain relevant data on prospects and customers in CRM
  • Provide forecasts on sales volumes that will close in 90 days and work with Operations staff to address potential problems and ensure a great experience
  • Partner with reps in other business units to identify opportunities to cross-sell

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated individual with 5-7 years demonstrated success in consultative/solution-based selling in a B2B environment within a relevant industry
  • Experience selling at the senior management level with a proven track record of routinely closing deals
  • A college degree or equivalent experience and demonstrated success in sales
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry sales and/or customer service experience
  • Ability to travel within an assigned region using own transportation and good driving record
