Professional Services Group (PSG) is a dedicated social services organization seeking compassionate individuals to take on the role of Youth Worker within our Monitored Home Detention and Electronic Leg Monitoring (MHD/ELM) initiatives.

The MHD and ELM programs provide an alternative to traditional detention, allowing youth to remain in their homes while receiving necessary monitoring services. In this role, you will ensure that clients adhere to court-mandated guidelines. Your responsibilities will include regular contact with assigned clients, either at home or school, to monitor compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct daily in-person visits to monitor client compliance and well-being.
  • Track school attendance, academic performance, and behavior, providing detailed reports.
  • Communicate client progress and concerns to relevant authorities, including Juvenile Court and Child and Family Services.
  • Prepare comprehensive behavioral reports for court proceedings.
  • Attend court hearings as necessary and submit required documentation.
  • Administer random drug testing as mandated by court orders.
  • Assist in the implementation and oversight of Electronic Leg Monitoring services.
  • Effectively manage and de-escalate crisis situations involving youth and their families.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position requires local travel to meet clients and families in various settings. Regular in-person interactions with families are essential.

WORK SCHEDULE: Standard hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional evening commitments. Weekend work is not required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
