Citigroup Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst to join its team in Irving, TX.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing robust and efficient applications that meet business needs, utilizing Core Java, Python, JavaScript, Multi-Threading, Exception Handling, and GoF Pattern Designs. They will also work with Spring technologies, including Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Security, and Spring Data, to process large amounts of data in real-time and provide real-time business metrics.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop highly scalable distributed enterprise applications using Kafka, Event-Driven Microservices, and non-relational databases.
- Utilize Redis, RDBMS, NoSQL DB, Apigee, OpenShift Container Platform, Kubernetes to find efficient solutions to address critical business challenges.
- Monitor application performance and provide devops support using Splunk, AppDynamics, Jenkins.
- Collaborate with users, clients, and other technology groups to identify and define necessary system enhancements.
- Consult with senior stakeholders and/or other team members to provide technical guidance and support.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation, with a focus on applications development and technical expertise.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages, including Core Java, Python, JavaScript, and Spring technologies.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and non-relational databases.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Citigroup Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $99,000 to $110,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life, accident, and disability insurance, and wellness programs. We also offer paid time off packages, including planned time off (vacation), unplanned time off (sick leave), and paid holidays.
