Job Summary:

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a skilled Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst to join its team in Irving, TX. As a key member of the Applications Development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing real-time data streaming frameworks to drive digital customer insight initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enable real-time streaming data from all Citi Consumer Bank channels.
  • Integrate and design real-time data streaming frameworks to drive digital customer insight initiatives.
  • Set up capabilities by improving data lake's linkages between data-sets and work with data owners to streamline processes.
  • Identify opportunities to help business partners grow and achieve their goals with digital insights capabilities and KPIs.
  • Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify and define necessary system enhancements.
  • Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues and recommend programming solutions.
  • Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, and conduct testing and debugging.
  • Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Three years of experience must include utilizing Core Java, Python, JavaScript, Multi-Threading, Exception Handling, and GoF Pattern Designs to develop robust and efficient applications.

Experience with Spring technologies, Kafka, Event-Driven Microservices, non-relational databases, and monitoring tools such as Splunk and AppDynamics is also required.
