Main Responsibilities:

As a Financial Manager II - Business Development, you will be responsible for developing new business plans that assess return on investment, creating quotations for submission to customers, and working with complex bills of materials to understand and cost products. You will also maintain costed bills of materials and cash flows for launch programs, manage tooling and engineering costs, and update and maintain pricing and purchase orders with customers. Additionally, you will understand various manufacturing processes and related costs, develop competitive pricing strategies, and create proformas for new manufacturing facilities. You will also resolve open commercial issues, perform monthly financial updates for top management, and support internal financial forecasting activities. Furthermore, you will successfully negotiate pricing with customers, establish cost targets for suppliers, and champion achievement of financial commitments and product cost reduction efforts. You will also prepare and submit capital appropriation requests.

Requirements:

A four-year college degree in business or finance is required, and a technical education such as engineering or program management will also be considered. An advanced degree such as an MBA or professional accreditation (CPA, CMA) is preferred.

Work Experience:

A minimum of five years of experience related to financial management or project management in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Automotive experience is also preferred.
