Key Responsibilities:

Collaborates effectively with patients and their families, adapting service delivery to reflect cultural diversity.
2. **Teamwork and Collaboration** - Facilitates the safe delivery and documentation of quality patient care, promoting a professional care delivery model. Engages in interdisciplinary communication methods and fosters a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
3. **Professional Development and Initiative** - Completes all required competency assessments and mandatory education. Acts as a mentor for other nursing professionals, ensuring a qualified workforce and a healthy work environment.
4. **Evidence-Based Practice and Research** - Advocates for evidence-based practices and nursing research. Participates in activities that enhance patient care quality and safety, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.
5. **Resources and Support** - Plans proactively for patient care across the continuum, collaborating with care managers and team members to achieve optimal outcomes. Supports the efficient use of resources in delivering patient care.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Current licensure as a registered professional nurse in the State of Georgia required.
- Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Compliance with the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Professional Nurses is essential.
