Position Summary:
Graham Packaging Company is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Specialist. This role is available for 2nd or 3rd shift operations.
The Industrial Maintenance Specialist is tasked with the installation and repair of machinery within the facility. Responsibilities include both preventative and reactive maintenance of all production equipment and the building itself.
Key Responsibilities:
The main duties of an Industrial Maintenance Specialist include:
Adhering to and enforcing all established safety, health, quality, and company policies and procedures.
Ensuring product quality by monitoring and adjusting manufacturing processes as necessary.
Maintaining operational controls to meet budgetary goals.
Executing a variety of tasks to install and maintain production machinery and facility equipment.
Diagnosing issues, replacing or repairing components, and making necessary adjustments.
Providing emergency repairs during production and performing scheduled maintenance during machine downtime.
Conducting regular preventive maintenance on machinery and facility systems.
Utilizing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills for troubleshooting and repairs.
Interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
Employing various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in daily tasks.
Identifying faulty operations and defective materials, reporting them to the appropriate supervision.
Assisting and training production staff on proper machinery operation and maintenance.
Some travel may be necessary.
Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related field is preferred. A minimum of five years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician is preferred.
Industrial Maintenance Specialists must effectively interact with managers, employees, vendors, and customers.
Essential skills and proficiencies include:

Proficiency in computer usage and typing.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing excellent customer service.
Capability to work independently and complete assignments within established guidelines and routines.

Clearly conveys information both verbally and in writing.
Collaboration:
Actively contributes to team objectives and offers assistance to colleagues.
The standard pay range for this role is $33.74. Salary offers will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skillset, and other relevant factors.
