Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Banquet Server is to prepare the banquet area and serve food and beverages in a friendly, professional manner that aligns with our high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the banquet room as directed by the Banquet Captain, ensuring all linens, serviceware, and glassware are set up correctly.
  • Participate in pre-event meetings to understand the specifics of each function, including guest expectations.
  • Welcome guests and address their requests in a courteous manner.
  • Serve food and beverages in accordance with the Banquet Captain's instructions to maintain consistency throughout the event.
  • Clear dishes promptly as guests finish each course and at the conclusion of the meal.
  • Refill beverages as needed and check in with guests to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Adhere to teamwork principles and maintain cleanliness throughout the service.
  • After the event, reset the banquet room according to the Captain's specifications to prepare for subsequent functions and ensure sanitation.
  • Attend mandatory monthly departmental meetings.

Regular attendance is essential to meet the standards of the position.
