About the RoleFerrero is seeking an experienced Senior Public Affairs Manager to join our Greenford office. In this role, you will align with Ferrero Group strategy and support business development plans for the UK&I. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and execute the Institutional Affairs programme, building awareness among stakeholders of Ferrero's approach to doing business and strengthening our reputation with relevant stakeholders, including Government, NGOs, and others.
Main Responsibilities- Support the implementation of the Institutional Affairs Programme in the UK & Ireland, with a focus on Ferrero-related companies, Fox's Biscuits, and Eat Natural.
- Manage activities to maintain and enhance strategy-focused, result-oriented Government relations at a regional and local level, including interaction and negotiation with the Government on specific issues/topics and Government policy/regulations advocacy.
- Monitor and report on Institutional Affairs and developments, providing full and regular insights to the business.
- Develop expertise on public policies relating to Health & Nutrition, Responsible Marketing, Sustainability, Access to Markets & Trade.
- Lead on key issues, including Thoughtful Treating, portion labelling, Portion Research, Joy of Moving stakeholder engagement, Access to Labour and Trade, and Exports.
- Support the company and brand strategies to protect and equip them to respond to potential critics on key issues.
- Liaise with the Head of Institutional Affairs and Head of Corporate Communications to propose relevant material for Social Media Leverage and align or leverage CSR activities for the UK/ROI team.
We are looking for an individual with strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship building skills. A highly organized individual, capable of handling multiple sources of information, with a proven ability to communicate and present information clearly. A continuous improvement mindset is essential, always looking to improve processes and eliminate delays.
