Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator to join our team in the Charlotte, NC area. As an HVAC Estimator, you will be responsible for determining total costs for projects, preparing bids, and communicating with project managers, customers, and other associates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read construction drawings and specifications to determine project requirements
  • Determine total costs for projects, including materials, labor, and equipment
  • Prepare bids and proposals for clients
  • Choose appropriate materials and verify prices
  • Calculate profits on a given project
  • Utilize effective communication skills to communicate with project managers, customers, and other associates
  • Meet with contractors, builders, owners, and engineers to discuss project details
  • Create additions or changes on projects currently under contract as needed
  • Prepare the billing of contract jobs

Requirements

  • 2-year degree or equivalent field experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe
  • Strong computerized estimating skills - preference for CAD, Revit, and/or Navisworks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Valid Driver License
  • Able to pass a Drug Test and a Background check
