Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Communication Specialist to join our team of professionals. The successful candidate will work closely with special education staff to develop and implement effective communication strategies for students with language handicaps, articulation deficits, dysfluencies, and voice disorders.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of speech and language development, as well as experience working with children and adults with communication disorders. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field is preferred. Certification as a Speech Therapist is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized programs of therapy to meet the unique needs of students
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff members to integrate therapy into daily activities
  • Provide counseling and support to parents and families as needed
  • Supervise students and maintain accurate records

Salary Range: $41,286.41 - $77,875.35 per year
