Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic exams for patients of all age groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiographic exams for patients of all age groups
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology - NYS DOH approved two-year program
  • New York State Department of Health diagnostic radiographic technologist license
  • Up to one (1) year Radiologic Technologist experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: One (1) plus years' experience

Requirements:

  • Heavy lifting and bending
  • Long periods of standing
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to see and read well
  • Able to hear and listen to instructions
  • Sufficient mobility and dexterity of both arms or mechanical substitutes to operate a stretcher, move patients and other Hospital equipment
