Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform primary diagnostic examinations to diagnose or decide the optimal procedure for patients.
  • Create a tranquil environment for patients to adhere to examination instructions.
  • Identify anatomical orientation on required images and ensure proper file identification.
  • Greet patients, obtain history, and enter information into the computer system.
  • Perform x-rays at optimal quality and demonstrate patient care to protect patients from excessive radiation.
  • Provide coverage as needed and offer instruction/mentoring to new hires.
  • Perform procedures in compliance with Standards of Care, facility, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain quality standards related to HIPPA regulations.
  • Communicate with patients, providing knowledge about the procedure and ensuring they're aware of follow-up steps and requirements.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree or BS in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine.
  • ARRT certified.
  • 1+ years of experience in general radiologic technologist.
