Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze patient data to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Perform physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to diagnose and treat patients.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, including pharmacologic interventions and educational plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and referrals to specialized services.
  • Manage patient follow-up care and ensure timely communication with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide exceptional patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Program or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of experience as a Physician Assistant, unless specified by department.
  • Current licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant in California.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • National Provider Identifier.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum three years of recent Cardiac Surgery experience, including Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH).
