Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to lead our pharmacy team at Unlimited Drugs Inc. As the Pharmacist in Charge, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications, providing excellent patient care, and maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Dispensing: Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.
  • Patient Counseling: Provide detailed counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
  • Staff Training: Oversee and train pharmacy staff to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborative Care: Work with healthcare providers to manage and improve patient care.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock.
  • Insurance Processing: Handle insurance claims processing and reimbursement efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns professionally.
Requirements
  • Must Have: A valid state required pharmacist license.
  • Must Have: Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
  • Experience with inventory management and cost-saving measures.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing a pharmacy team.
