Job Title: Pharmacist In Charge

At GRUM CORPORATION, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist In Charge to lead our pharmacy team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of patient care and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Medication Dispensing: Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Patient Counseling: Provide thorough guidance on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our pharmacy operates in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Controlled Substances Management: Maintain precise records and responsibly manage controlled substances, upholding the highest standards of security and accountability.
  • Staff Training: Train and mentor pharmacy staff to uphold best practices, ensuring that our team is equipped to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Collaborative Care: Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient care, fostering a culture of teamwork and communication.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess, ensuring that our pharmacy operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Insurance Processing: Efficiently handle insurance claims and reimbursements, minimizing delays and ensuring timely payment.
  • Customer Service: Professionally address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional service and support.
Requirements:
  • Required: Valid pharmacist license as per state regulations.
  • Required: Doctor of Pharmacy (Ph.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
