Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Trainer to join our team at Equinox in Berkeley. As a Personal Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality fitness services to our members, including personalized training sessions, fitness evaluations, and orientations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer fitness evaluations and orientations to new members
  • Develop and implement personalized training plans for clients
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to members
  • Maintain knowledge of all club services, programs, and products
  • Update and maintain the Personal Training App
  • Instruct members on proper use of equipment and exercise techniques
  • Adjust and operate all fitness equipment
  • Attend Personal Training related meetings and training sessions
Requirements
  • Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification
  • 1-3 years of previous Personal Training experience (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess honesty and personal integrity
  • Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding the fitness industry
  • Excel in time management, organizational, and follow-up skills
Essential Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform all essential physical aspects of the position, including standing, sitting, running, walking, jumping, squatting, bending, and reaching. As well as pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs at a time.
