Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer/Principal Software Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. This position will be located in Roy, Utah, and will support the Sentinel program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and unit test software code.
  • Develop and release engineering documentation, including software design description documents and diagrams.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, hardware engineers, and lab testers to ensure test requirements are met.
  • Perform Model Based System Engineering data analysis against requirements and interfaces for each software build.
  • Interface with Hardware-In-The-Loop testers and systems engineers in support of verification.
  • Software integration, regression, and verification testing, including checkout in system test labs.
Requirements
  • Active DoD Secret clearance with a re-investigation date occurring in the last 6 years.
  • U.S. Citizen and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
  • Engineer Software: 2 Years with Bachelor's in relevant field of study; 1 year with Master's or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
  • Principal Engineer Software: 5 Years with Bachelor's in relevant field of study; 3 Years with Master's; 0 years with PhD or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in software development in C/C++, Python, Linux, and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Experience with AGILE Software development processes.
  • Experience with Atlassian Tools such as: Jira, Confluence, Git/GitLab, etc.
  • Knowledge of test concepts: automation, data capture, reporting.
  • Security+ (or higher) Certification.
