Our flagship event, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, stands as the largest multi-day music festival in North America, drawing in over 400,000 fans across three days. Founded by Pasquale Rotella, Insomniac has been headquartered in Los Angeles since its inception in 1993.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The Insomniac Passport Team Member is expected to be lively, sociable, and eager to interact with our program participants. The role involves engaging in various activations at select festivals, which may include arts and crafts, food and beverage stations, interactive games, and charitable giveaways. Thus, the ability to adapt to a diverse range of creative tasks will be essential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Possess a thorough understanding of the Insomniac Passport program and its offerings, communicating them enthusiastically and informatively.
- Utilize a laptop effectively to cross-reference spreadsheets for on-site member check-ins during activations.
- Have knowledge of general festival information, including show hours, stage names, major performing artists, and the locations of essential services.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the Insomniac Passport area(s), ensuring a clean and organized workspace throughout the festival.
- Exhibit creativity and flexibility in various tasks, while energizing attendees about all activations.
- Experience in large-scale events with attendance exceeding 5,000.
- Proactive and innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly.
- Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and travel as necessary.
- Personable, enthusiastic, and capable of thriving in group settings.
- Ability to tolerate high noise levels and busy environments.
- May be required to work in extreme temperature conditions.
- Willingness to frequently travel for events during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
