At 2K, we're passionate about creating immersive gaming experiences that push the boundaries of innovation and artistry. As a Procedural Technical Artist, you'll play a vital role in shaping the future of our AAA titles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and develop production pipelines, processes, and workflows to streamline procedural asset creation
  • Collaborate with artists and designers to design and implement procedural systems, improving their workflows and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot issues and resolve them by inventing or building robust, quality technical implementations
  • Participate in art asset reviews to identify technical concerns or risks and provide solutions
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in computer-generated art
  • Solid understanding of 3D math and algorithm design
  • Intimate knowledge of Houdini and/or procedural asset creation
  • Proficiency with Maya and scripting/programming experience in Python, PyQT/PySide
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Industry experience working or shipping AAA titles
  • Programming experience with C++
  • Experience in design or creating world-building toolsets
