Job Overview

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of our field staff on various projects, ensuring that our clients' needs are met and our employees are taken care of.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with project management teams to ensure accurate project design before work commences.
  • Order and schedule equipment delivery for projects.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the field and office.
  • Manage work schedules and timecards for field staff.
  • Provide leadership to on-site staff, sub-contractors, and other parties.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies.
  • Review project progress to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Report results of work completed in a timely manner.
  • Protect and maintain company equipment.
  • Inspect and maintain company vehicles and equipment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely.
  • Work in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures.
  • Respond to emergency service calls.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Requirements:

  • Industry experience.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
  • Flexibility with scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and out-of-town assignments.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage projects.
  • Knowledge of life safety principles and codes.
  • Ability to interpret and apply laws, codes, and regulations.
  • Accurate record-keeping and reporting skills.
