The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Psychiatry is seeking a skilled psychiatrist to join our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division.

This dynamic position offers the opportunity to provide psychiatric care to a variety of pediatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as some adult outpatient coverage.

As a member of our team, you will have the chance to take part in the educational objectives of The University of Wisconsin-Madison, School of Medicine and Public Health by supervising and building a mentor/mentee relationship with a variety of learners, including residents and fellows.

Together, we are advancing health and health equity through remarkable service to patients and communities, outstanding education, and innovative research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychiatric care for a variety of pediatric and/or adult patients (90%):
  • Service on appropriate department and medical school committees.
  • Provide supervision, mentorship, and teaching (10%):
  • Supervise, mentor, and teach psychiatric residents, psychology interns and medical students.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of Child/Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship.
  • Board Certification in Adult or Child Psychiatry (or Board Eligible with a firm plan to complete)

For an appointment at Clinical Associate Professor or Clinical Professor rank on CT Track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate or Professor on the CT Track.
