Psychiatrist - PACT Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team. As a PACT Psychiatrist, you will provide medical and psychiatric services to outpatients living in the community. Your duties will include participating in comprehensive clinical and rehabilitation services, providing clinical supervision and education to PACT staff and students, and participating in hosting visitors and disseminating technical assistance on the ACT model of care.
Responsibilities
• Participate in comprehensive clinical and rehabilitation services for persons with severe and persistent mental illness in the community.
• Provide clinical supervision, education, and training of PACT staff and students.
• Provide clinical consultation on the ACT model.
• Participate with PACT team in hosting visitors and disseminating technical assistance on the ACT model of care.
Requirements
• Possession of a license to practice medicine in the State of Wisconsin, or ability to obtain a license prior to appointment, plus a minimum of three (3) years of training in an approved residency in psychiatry. Board Certification in General Psychiatry is expected within three (3) years of hire.
• Experience working with adults with severe psychiatric disorders.
• Experience working on a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Experience working with clients with substance use disorders.
• Experience with Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Community Support Programs (CSP), or crisis experience in the community.
