Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic (Part-Time) to join our team at Johnson County (Iowa). As a Paramedic (Part-Time), you will provide emergency medical services to patients in need, working closely with our team to ensure the highest level of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and transport patients to their designated destinations
  • Perform duties of an EMT-Paramedic, including patient care and documentation
  • Contribute to the training of new employees to maintain a high standard of care
  • Participate in training and professional development activities
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent and successful completion of a paramedic program
  • Current EMT-Paramedic certification in the State of Iowa and current ACLS, BLS, PALS provider certifications
  • Valid chauffeur's license and insurable under county liability coverage
  • Safe driving record and up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination
Working Conditions
