The I-35 Northeast Expansion (NEX) South project in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a Safety and Compliance Specialist to supervise individuals and teams of Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) professionals. The purpose of this position is to create and sustain a productive work culture and safe work environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supervising and training subordinates on HSE activities, including preparation of certification/classification programs and implementation of project-specific HSE initiatives.
  • Applying regulatory requirements to provide guidance and proven solutions to project management.
  • Designing and reviewing project plans to confirm compliance with all governmental regulations and Company/client requirements.
  • Promoting and fostering Company HSE standards and goals through programs throughout the Company and/or project.
