Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator to join our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care services, monitoring performance, and providing coaching and feedback to nursing personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient care services for a designated unit or patient population
- Monitor performance of nursing personnel and provide coaching and feedback as needed
- Participate in performance improvement and research activities
- Maintain professional practice standards and clinical expertise
- Demonstrate leadership skills and contribute to the actualization of the vision and philosophy of the discipline
Requirements:
- New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.
- Certification preferred in specialty or efforts to achieve certification
- BSN degree required and 5 years clinical experience, two of which must be in the specialty or related service
- Demonstrates clinical leadership, problem-solving skills, competency, and principles of Montefiore Excellence
- Computer literate
