About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Blaster to join our team at Transco Railway Products, Inc. As a Blaster, you will be responsible for operating blasting equipment to remove rust, scale, paint, and other foreign materials from railcars and related equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate blasting equipment to remove scale, paint, and other foreign substances from railcars and equipment
• Adjust equipment as necessary to perform efficient and proper blasting
• Surface preparation of non-finished railcars and components using various blast media methods
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures for blast and recovery systems
• Work in adverse weather conditions and perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs
