About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care in our Medical Surgical Neuro unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.

Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse.
  • Associate Degree.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
