Project Manager II Job Description

Cinterra is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager II to lead our utility-scale solar projects from conception to completion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet customer requirements and company goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including regional operations management and preconstruction, to develop detailed project budgets and ensure financial performance.
  • Oversee project execution, including contract analysis, change orders, and material procurement, to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Lead project meetings, provide summary reports, and ensure accurate project records are maintained.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor associate project managers and site engineers to ensure proper utilization of site resources and maintain contract schedule and budget.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management and/or construction supervisory experience in solar, electrical, mechanical construction, and/or substation construction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information to various stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient knowledge of project scheduling software, such as MS-Project or Primavera P6.
  • Familiarity with Local code, AHJ standards, and NEC code, NFPA 70E Certification (preferred).
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
