About the Role

The Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Manager will lead a team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and improving the lives of those facing psychiatric challenges. As a key member of our Clinical Management Consultants team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our behavioral health unit, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of nursing professionals in providing patient-centered care and promoting a culture of compassion and excellence
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination
  • Manage and maintain departmental budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and accountability
  • Oversee quality improvement initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance

Requirements:

  • Background in Behavioral Health and Psychiatric Nursing, as well as leadership experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with staff, patients, and families
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
