Job Title: Water Resources Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team. As a Water Resources Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing sustainable solutions to manage water resources, ensuring that water is available when needed and protecting this precious resource for future generations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work independently on smaller projects and as a team member on larger projects, evaluating, selecting, specifying, and engineering systems or products for a project.
  • Perform complex tasks, including calculations, fieldwork, coordination of tasks, and personnel management.
  • Analyze proposed projects to ensure structural reliability, resource efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead project coordination meetings with internal team members and external consultants, owners, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Participate in client project requirement meetings and value analysis and cost estimating.
  • Manage and lead other team members while working on projects, completing tasks, and delegating specific project tasks to other team members as appropriate.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or equivalent in Engineering program.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer or able to obtain PE before start.
  • Minimum of 4-10 years of experience.
  • Excellent time management skills, thorough understanding of task assignment and schedule, budgeting, and efficient use of time and resources.
  • Ability to effectively discuss project issues with clients and reviewing agencies.
  • Thorough understanding of codes, legal, and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Strong knowledge of civil systems means and methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, and relevant discipline software programs.
