Job Title: Water Resources Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team at CDM Smith. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing complex calculations, modeling, data analysis, and design work for water resources projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic to high complexity calculations, modeling, data analysis, and design work for water resources projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff.
  • Collaborate with sales staff to create proposals in response to client requests.
  • Review draft proposals for adherence to firm, industry, state, local, and federal regulations and best practices.
  • Meet with clients to review their current and future design needs.
  • Utilize Technical Knowledge Management (TKM) systems and TKM material.
  • Support TKM content development as directed.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, Coastal, or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam in states where an EIT is not obtainable.
  • 5 years of related experience.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
