The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary range of $16.26-$24.40 per hour, plus benefits including part-time status with opportunities for overtime.
Job Description
As a Unit Clerk, you will be responsible for performing general receptionist and clerical duties on the unit, maintaining established departmental policies and procedures, and assisting in planning and implementing activities in the patient care department.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess basic computer skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to relate well with others. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate's degree in secretarial science or medical office assistant preferred. Previous experience in an office setting with medical terminology or unit clerk experience is also desirable.
Benefits and Working Conditions
This is a part-time position working days and evenings, 7a-7p, with opportunities for overtime. You will be subject to inside environmental conditions, and hazards may exist where there is danger to life, body, and/or health.
