Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care services tailored to the specific needs of patients based on their age and condition
- Provide morning care, which may include bed baths, showers, oral hygiene, hair care, and general room upkeep throughout the day
- Administer evening care, including washing hands and faces, oral hygiene, back rubs, and freshening linens
- Prepare patients for meals; serve and clear food trays, and assist patients with eating as necessary
- Respond to patient call lights, anticipate needs, and conduct rounds for assigned patients
- Assist patients with personal items such as dentures, glasses, hearing aids, and other assistive devices
- Report and document any changes in patient condition or behavior, as well as any unusual occurrences
- Support licensed nursing staff with treatment procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Completion of a nursing assistant training program
- Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant
- CPR/BCLS Certification
- Preferred minimum of six months experience in an acute or long-term care setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities
