Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at the University Health Network. As an integral member of our Joint Department of Medical Imaging, you will play a critical role in performing various imaging procedures and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Interventional Radiology procedures using advanced digital equipment and digital quality assurance
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management personnel, participate in professional development, teaching, and educational activities, and mentoring
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow
  • Develop and maintain strong technical skills and image quality, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental performance
Requirements
  • Certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) and completion of annual required continuing education
  • 2-3 years of general radiography experience, with a strong background in Interventional Radiology
  • Ability to work accurately, safely, and efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document clinical information effectively
