Job Overview: Sunrise Early Intervention is seeking a dedicated Child Development Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and their families to provide comprehensive therapy services. Our ideal candidate is a motivated individual with a passion for helping children reach their full potential.

About the Role: As a Child Development Therapist, you will be responsible for providing early intervention services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities. This includes assessing child development, creating personalized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions. You will also communicate regularly with parents, service coordinators, and other professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess child development in various areas, including cognitive, motor, and sensory skills
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans to promote developmental growth
  • Provide direct therapy services to children, utilizing a variety of techniques and modalities
  • Communicate effectively with parents, service coordinators, and other professionals to ensure timely and accurate information exchange
  • Maintain accurate records of child progress and treatment outcomes

Requirements and Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must have a graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university. Additionally, you should hold a current license or registration in your state (if applicable) and have at least 6 months of experience in early intervention within the last 1-2 years. Prior experience working with young children and their families is highly desirable.

Physical Demands: This role requires the ability to transfer children, transport them, and perform treatments on the floor or mat. You should be knowledgeable in exercise, proper handling of infants, and good body mechanics during patient treatment.

Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of $83.00 - $95.00 per hour, depending on experience. Part-time employees typically work 5-15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.
