About the Role

Doors of Hope Inc is seeking a highly skilled Child and Family Therapist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing social emotional/mental health services to children and youth between the ages of 5 to 18 years old.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychotherapy/counselling services to assigned caseloads of clients aged 5-18 years old and/or their families.
  • Collaborate with client's family, school, and community stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
  • Monitor and track caseload requirements, providing referrals to external/internal support when necessary.
  • Observe behavior and intervene appropriately in situations posing a threat to children/youth.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in social work, marriage & family therapy, counseling, psychology or related field.
  • Must be licensed in Washington, D.C. (Psychologist, LICSW, LPC, LGSW, LCPC, PhD).
  • Experience in evidence-based practices and adherence to clinical documentation requirements.
Salary and Benefits
