Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of computer networks within an organization, working under the guidance of Senior Engineers to support the organization's network infrastructure.
  • Configure, install, and maintain network devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Troubleshoot network issues, analyze logs, and implement corrective actions to ensure smooth network operation.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
  • Monitor network security events, analyze vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate security patches and updates.
  • Collaborate with other IT Teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of the network infrastructure.
  • Assist Senior Engineers in the planning and execution of network-related projects, such as network upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline.
  • DoD m-IAT Level II Certification must be obtained within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order: CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant industry standard certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco/Juniper, or AWS Advanced Networking.
Clearance Requirements:
  • This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
  • Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
