Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team at Intermountain Health in Manchester, New Hampshire. As an APP, you will work closely with radiologists and other medical professionals to provide exceptional diagnostic and therapeutic services in the field of medical imaging.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to perform and interpret various imaging procedures, including radiographs, computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), arthrograms, ultrasounds, and nuclear medicine studies.

You will also assist in patient assessments and physical examinations to gather relevant information for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Additionally, you will participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans based on imaging findings, collaborating with the referring healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to perform and interpret imaging procedures
  • Assist in patient assessments and physical examinations
  • Participate in the development and implementation of treatment plans
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' responses to imaging procedures

Requirements:

  • Current New Hampshire state license as an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Eligible for State Controlled Substance License
  • Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate II through V
  • BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Specialization or experience in medical imaging, such as radiology or nuclear medicine
  • Proficiency in performing and interpreting various imaging procedures
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to imaging
