As a Financial Operations Specialist at Mountain View Regional Medical Center, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of daily deposits for MVRMC Physician Services in athenaOne and other locations. This includes reviewing departmental balancing and batch out sheets for accuracy and posting in the system from the audit trail to ensure balancing totals are correct.
Additional Duties:
Handle returned checks as NSF in athenaOne
Handle chargeback responses in athenaOne
Resolve incoming calls or correspondence
Identify department and self when answering phone
Read and follow through on email correspondence within 48 hours
Unpostables kept to a minimum amount or zero weekly
Team Collaboration:
As a key member of the team, you will assist with questions regarding team functions and assist with team direction in regards to daily time of service reconciliation. You will also serve as a knowledge expert and an escalation point for patients and staff questions and concerns.
Quarterly Audits:
You will be responsible for completing quarterly audits of payment devices, including Ingenico and Burroughs, as part of the department's regular processes. Other duties as assigned.
