Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Specialist to join our team at PHIMS, LLC. The ideal candidate will have experience processing electronic medical records, managing patient requests, and maintaining accurate records.

  • Process and manage electronic medical records using Cerner software
  • Respond to patient and attorney requests for medical records
  • Organize and complete work within given deadlines
  • Maintain accurate records and statistics
  • Scan and digitize medical records
  • Handle phone calls and communicate with patients, attorneys, and insurance companies
  • Review medical records to process requests for protected health information
  • Communicate the availability or unavailability of records
  • Compile and input data into the system
  • Transfer medical records and radiology images to CD
