Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial HVAC Service Manager to join our team at TradeWize Recruiting. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of service technicians and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our commercial HVAC service division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of service technicians, including interviewing, hiring, and training.
  • Develop and manage operating budgets and monthly status reports, including projected gross/net profits.
  • Manage accounts receivable and overdue clients, and approve all credit accounts.
  • Maintain systems for responding to customer inquiries via various channels.
  • Review and initiate all completed work orders, including pricing and verification of materials/labor used.
  • Initiate paperwork for returns of warranty parts and arrange shipping.
  • Monitor and evaluate system performance regarding call-backs and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist service technicians with callbacks or highly difficult technical problems.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory.
  • Develop advertising schedules and promotional literature for presentations.
  • Lead in the development of new markets in commercial areas of service.
  • Responsible for security and cleanliness of the Service Division building, trucks, and equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a commercial HVAC environment.
  • Estimating experience required.
  • Leadership experience required.
Requirements:
  • Valid HVAC certification and driver's license.
