Patient Service Representative

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at MaineHealth. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities- Greet patients in a friendly and courteous manner, answering their questions and addressing their concerns.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
- Collect, verify, and enter patient data, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to federal, state, and MaineHealth confidentiality policies.
- Perform other general office duties as assigned, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Previous office experience with medical office experience helpful.
- Knowledge and skills in using office equipment, including computers, phones, and medical software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly in person and on the phone.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member with minimal direct supervision.
