Job Description
The Lincoln Institute of Land Policy is seeking a highly skilled Policy Analyst to join our Land and Water Program Implementation team. As a Policy Analyst, you will play a critical role in advancing our mission to improve quality of life through the effective use, taxation, and stewardship of land.
You will work closely with our team to analyze important issues, policies, and data to lead the design and dissemination of educational training and technical assistance tools to help communities and practitioners respond to challenges in sustainable land and water management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing educational training and technical assistance programs
- Developing and disseminating policy briefs, reports, and other materials
- Collaborating with stakeholders to advance land and water policy goals
- Providing technical assistance to communities and practitioners
- Staying up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in land and water policy
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional who is passionate about land and water policy and has a strong track record of success in program implementation. If you are a team player with excellent communication and analytical skills, we encourage you to apply.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as natural resources management, planning, geography, or environmental science
- 3+ years of experience in land and water policy and management
