About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Analytics Consultant to join our Home Lending Marketing organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing complex performance measurement and reporting processes using SAS/SQL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with internal Marketing Campaign Managers and Agile teams to measure marketing performance across all aspects of direct marketing, paid and owned media.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive learnings and recommendations to business partners and marketing leadership, working closely with internal delivery teams on Multi-Channel Attribution and Campaign Analytics.
  • Bring thought leadership and articulate performance using measurement methodologies such as Test vs. Control, Synthetic Control, and Multi-Channel Attribution in a clear and intuitive way for business partners.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of Analytics, Reporting, Financial Modeling, or Statistics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 8+ years of Digital Marketing experience with roles on the client or agency sides.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team, as well as independently with limited guidance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in measuring the incremental impact of digital marketing programs.
  • Seasoned data expert with the ability to work independently with partners to set up successful launches.
  • Digital tagging and tracking experience.
  • Test Design experience in terms of market-to-market, statistically significant sizing, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Experience with web analytics and customer pathing through the digital sales funnel, Google Analytics, and Cloud.
  • Expertise in SAS and SQL languages for database access, data retrieval, and analysis.
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of the digital marketing landscape, including Paid Search, Paid Display, Paid Social, Programmatic buying, etc.
  • Experience managing lower-funnel campaigns with high complexity and test designs.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and ability to drive clarity in ambiguity while dealing with credit and operational problems.
  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills based on analytics.
  • Adept in data analysis tools and programming (R, Python, SQL, SAS).
Job Expectations
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
  • This position requires compliance with all mortgages regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo's compliance policies related to these requirements.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule. Telework or remote work setting is not available. Required location(s) listed below. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
