Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Assess and plan patient care needs, implementing evidence-based interventions to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, BSN or Associate Degree.
  • Current RN License in the Commonwealth of Virginia or compact license.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification, obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
  • Recent RN experience in a hospital, with Behavioral Health experience preferred.
