Intensive Care Unit Clinical Coordinator RN Lead

About This Opportunity
TriCities Hospital is seeking a skilled Intensive Care Unit Clinical Coordinator RN to join our team. This role is a key part of our nursing leadership team, responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other members of the management team to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Recommend and implement courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- Required Nursing graduate with RN Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing
- Required One (1) year experience as RN with demonstrated proficiency leadership and management skills
- Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Preferred Two (2) years' experience as an RN in a Charge Nurse role
- Registered Nurse - Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
