Job Summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our Chemotherapy & Infusion Pharmacy Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate medications prescribed by physicians and providers for appropriateness, efficacy, and potential interactions.
  • Perform patient chart reviews and reference treatment guidelines to ensure accurate medication use.
  • Communicate with physicians and nursing teams to clarify or correct medication orders.
  • Provide counseling and drug information to patients and physicians.
  • Assist in the supervision of pharmacy technicians and ensure accurate medication dispensing.
  • Maintain current knowledge of drug information and policies through ongoing education and training.
  • Participate in the management of medical emergencies and respond to drug-related clinical questions.
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the State of Pennsylvania.
  • Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree.
  • Prior clinical oncology pharmacy experience preferred.
