  • Continuity of Care: Ensure continuity of pharmaceutical care to and from acute and ambulatory patient-care settings.
  • Adverse Drug Event Management: Participate in the established process for assessing, managing, and reporting adverse drug events.
  • Medical Emergencies: Participate in the management of medical emergencies.
  • Medication-Use Policies: Assume responsibility for adherence to medication-use policies and guidelines.
  • Time Management: Manage time effectively to fulfill practice responsibilities.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Comply with accreditation, legal, regulatory, and safety requirements for the practice setting.
Requirements
  • Current Pharmacist License: Current pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania is required.
Education and Experience
  • PharmD or Equivalent: Bachelor of Arts or Science or PharmD from an accredited College of Pharmacy or equivalent is required.
  • Oncology Experience: Previous oncology experience is preferred.
  • PGY1 and PGY2 in Oncology: PGY1 and PGY2 in oncology are preferred.
