Position Overview

The Evening Retail Associate is tasked with a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, whether they are browsing in-store or collecting an order.

  • This position requires availability for early evening shifts commencing between 5 PM and 6 PM.
  • An additional $2 per hour will be provided for shifts starting at 8:00 PM, which involve unloading deliveries and organizing the store post-closing.
  • Opportunities for extra shifts may arise in areas such as order processing, cash register operations, and sales, including daytime, evening, and weekend hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in merchandise processing during early morning or evening hours, which includes unloading deliveries, lifting boxes, arranging products, climbing ladders, and maintaining a safe yet efficient pace.
  • Greet and welcome all customers, either as a Host at the entrance or throughout the store.
  • Assist customers by providing solutions to their organizational needs.
  • Design and sell custom storage solutions, including closets.
  • Operate the cash register with a strong emphasis on delivering an excellent customer experience during checkout.
  • Introduce and enroll customers in our rewards program.
  • Maintain the sales floor by ensuring shelves are stocked and presented according to our brand standards.
  • Support customers with carryout services, whether curbside or in parking areas.
  • Participate in store cleaning routines, including dusting, restroom maintenance, and vacuuming.
  • Process customer orders for curbside pickup and/or delivery.
  • Organize the stockroom to ensure it is well-maintained and supports the store's sales efforts.
  • Adhere to established time expectations for the role, performing tasks accurately and promptly while demonstrating attention to detail.
  • Actively engage with customers to address their organizational challenges.

Qualifications
  • Availability for evening shifts starting between 5 PM and 6 PM.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Previous retail sales experience is advantageous.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Enjoys engaging with customers and building connections.
  • Recognizes that retail is a dynamic industry requiring flexible scheduling.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
